Anaheim: Two Pedestrians Struck, Killed Crossing Street
08.14.2020 | 8:54 PM | ANAHEIM – Two pedestrians where struck and killed while crossing a street, Friday night.
The crash was reported around 8:54 PM at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and North Alladin Drive.
When officers arrived on scene they located two victims, a male and a female in their 20s, down in the roadway and a BMW sedan with major front-end damage stopped nearby.
Firefighter paramedics attempted life-saving interventions but were unable to revive the pedestrians. Both were pronounced deceased on scene.
The driver of the BMW that struck the pedestrians remained on scene and appeared to be cooperating with law enforcement.
The pedestrians appeared to have been hit while walking outside a crosswalk but police are still piecing together what events led to the fatal crash.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
