Anaheim: Two Dead After Head-On DUI Crash

03.20.2020 | 2:00 PM | ANAHEIM – Two people were dead after a suspected DUI crash involving a Dodge Challenger that collided head-on with a Honda Civic, Friday afternoon.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with injuries near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Belinda Circle around 2:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a white Dodge Challenger that had collided head-on with a blue Honda Civic.

Firefighter paramedics assessed the occupants of both vehicles on scene and pronounced both the driver and passenger of the Honda Civic deceased on scene.

The driver of the Dodge Challenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

Officers suspect the driver of the Dodge was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash and are continuing to investigate.

Both directions of Lincoln Avenue were closed while authorities worked to clear the scene.
