Anaheim: Third-Alarm Fire Rips Through Strip Mall, Damaged Multiple Businesses
12.30.2019 | 9:59 PM | ANAHEIM – Several businesses were damaged after a third-alarm blaze broke out in a strip mall, Monday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a commercial structure fire burning in the 800 block of North Euclid Street around 9:59 PM.
Crews arriving on scene found a single-story strip mall with heavy smoke showing from the attic over a massage parlor.
Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack but had to pull back as the flames ripped through the building causing a partial roof collapse.
A third alarm fire assignment was requested and numerous agencies responded to the scene to assist battling the stubborn fire.
It took just over an hour for crews to gain control of the flames but multiple businesses in the strip mall had already suffered major damage.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
