Anaheim: Suspected DUI Crash Injures Child

10.22.2019 | 8:30 PM | ANAHEIM – A suspected DUI driver lost control of his vehicle causing it to overturn and injuring a child within the vehicle, Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving an overturned vehicle near the intersection of Winston and Magnolia around 8:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a solo vehicle on its roof with two occupants outside.

Firefighter paramedics evaluated both individuals on scene but the driver refused treatment. The passenger, described only as a child, was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Officers administered field sobriety tests to the driver before placing him under arrest on suspicion of DUI.
