Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a structure in the 1400 block of North Acacia Street around 11:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-vehicle crash involving a SUV and a black Maserati sedan that had crashed into a home.

Firefighter paramedics treated the female SUV driver on scene before transporting her to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Maserati along with two children sleeping inside the home that was struck were uninjured.

Initial reports indicate the driver of the SUV turned in front of the speeding Maserati causing it to clip the SUV before careening into a home.

Further investigation revealed the Maserati had been taken from the male driver’s employer without permission and the male was placed under arrest.

An investigation is ongoing.
