Anaheim: Pursuit Ends With PIT Maneuver

06.30.2020 | 1:00 AM | ANAHEIM – A man who fled from officers in a stolen vehicle was taken into custody after a successful PIT maneuver ended the pursuit, early Tuesday morning.

Officers in the South Los Angeles area attempted to stop a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck that had been reported stolen.

The driver and solo occupant of the vehicle fled at high-speeds into Orange County but was eventually stopped with a successful PIT maneuver when he exited the I-5 Freeway at Lincoln Avenue.

The suspect surrendered as a result of the PIT and was taken into custody without further incident.
