Anaheim Police Department Fentanyl Scare | Anaheim
08.09.2021 | 2:30 AM | ANAHEIM – Anaheim Police Department responded to a call in the area of Sycamore and 400 East Street for an unknown call. At that time, an officer had detained a suspect and during the detainment he possibly came into contact with Fentanyl. After the suspect had been detained, the officer was driiving back towards the jail with the suspect when the officer started to feelnlight headed and pulled over. At that time, the officer was worried had possibly been exposed and a full Hazmat response was called. Anaheim Fire and Rescue Hazmat arrived on scene and at this time the entire area is closed quarantined and Hazmat is in the process of suiting up to determine if there was an exposure. Anaheim police has been on high alert due to an exposure that took place in Sand Diego County earlier this week. No more information is available at this time.
