Anaheim: Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Struck By Unlicensed Driver

10.016.2019 | 8:55 PM | ANAHEIM – A pedestrian who was crossing a street outside of an intersection was seriously injured after being struck by an unlicensed driver, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of La Palma Avenue and Lido Street around 8:55 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a pedestrian down in the roadway suffering from injuries after being struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the pedestrian on scene before transporting them to an area hospital in serious condition.

The driver who struck the pedestrian remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement but did not have a driver’s license.

All lanes of La Palma Avenue were closed while police investigated.
