Anaheim: Motorcyclist Dead After Crashing Into Pickup Truck

06.19.2019 | 1:00 AM | ANAHEIM – A motorcyclist was dead after crashing into a pickup truck and then being ran over by a passing vehicle, early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a motorcyclist on the eastbound SR-91 near Imperial Highway around 1:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a motorcyclist down along with a Ford F-250 pick-up truck with damage.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased on scene from obvious trauma.

Initial reports indicate the motorcyclist was traveling at high-speeds before striking the rear of a pick-up truck and being ejected. The ejected motorcyclist was subsequently struck by a passing motorist.

The driver of the pick-up truck remained on scene to cooperate however it was unknown of the second vehicle that struck the motorcyclist stopped.

All eastbound lanes of the SR-91 were closed at Imperial while authorities continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
