Anaheim: Driver Flees Crash That Injured One

09.04.2019 | 12:02 AM | ANAHEIM – One person was injured after a hit-and-run crash, early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and South Street around 12:02 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-vehicle traffic collision involving a compact vehicle and a pick-up truck.

Firefighter paramedics treated a passenger from the compact vehicle before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The driver of the compact vehicle was not seriously injured and refused treatment.

Initial reports indicate the driver of the pickup truck ran a red light before striking the compact vehicle.

The pickup truck driver subsequently fled on foot. It was unclear if he was apprehended.
