Anaheim: Driver Flees After Striking Pedestrian

05.06.2020 | 11:50 PM | ANAHEIM – A driver fled after striking a pedestrian, late Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue around 11:50 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male pedestrian in the roadway after being struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Initial reports indicate that the pedestrian was crossing outside of a crosswalk when he was struck.

The driver that hit the pedestrian fled the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
