Anaheim: Driver Flees After Killing Pedestrian

04.23.2020 | 8:10 PM | ANAHEIM – A pedestrian was dead after being struck by a driver who fled the scene, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Ball Road around 8:10 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim down in the roadway deceased after being struck by a vehicle.

Witnesses described seeing a light blue 1999 Ford Crown Victoria flee the scene shortly after the crash.

All northbound lanes of Beach Boulevard were closed for several hours while authorities investigated the circumstances surrounding the fatal hit-and-run crash.
