Anaheim: Driver Flees After Crashing Into Neighbor’s Home
04.01.2020 | 2:30 AM | ANAHEIM – A driver fled after crashing into his neighbor’s home, early Wednesday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision into building in the 1800 block of West Crestwood around 2:30 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a blue Toyota Rav4 that had collided with a single-story residence.
One person inside the home was thrown from their bed as a result of the collision but did not sustain any injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, who is reportedly a neighbor, backed the vehicle out of the building before fleeing on foot and was not immediately located.
A city building official was responding to the scene to evaluate the home’s structural integrity.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
