Anaheim: Double Shooting Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

08.15.2020 | 12:40 AM | ANAHEIM – One man was dead and another was injured after a double shooting, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to a reported shooting near the intersection of Citron Street and Vermont Avenue around 12:40 AM.

Units arriving on scene located two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the victims, identified as 28-year-old Edwin Richard Ramirez-Hernandes, was pronounced deceased on scene.

The other victim, a 27-year-old man, was rushed to an area hospital with non-life threatening wounds.

Both victims are residents of Anaheim and police say the shooting appears “gang-related.”
