Anaheim: Crash With Tow-Truck Traps Driver

01.17.2019 | 3:15 AM | ANAHEIM – A driver had to be cut from their vehicle after a crash involving a tow-truck, Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported crash at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Gain Street around 3:15 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a two-vehicle crash involving a tow-truck and sedan.

The female driver of the sedan was trapped in the wreckage of the crash and required extrication.

Using the jaws of life and other power tools firefighters freed the trapped driver within 30 minutes and transported her along with the tow-truck driver to area hospitals.

Police are on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash but suspect rain and slick roads played a role.
