Anaheim: City Employee Injures Hand While Removing Protest Barricades
06.03.2020 | 3:48 PM | ANAHEIM – A city employee’s hand was injured while attempting to remove barricades set for recent protests, Thursday evening.
Authorities responded to reports of a rescue at the intersection of North Harbor Boulevard and West Lincoln Avenue around 3:48 PM.
Units arriving on scene located a city employee who was attempting to remove a signboard and barricades set due to recent protests when a hydraulic lift failed and crushed the man’s hand.
Firefighters from a urban search and rescue team used a floor jack to lift the sign and free the employees hand.
He was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
