Alhambra: Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Metrolink Train

07.31.2019 | 10:33 PM | ALHAMBRA – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metrolink train under a freeway overpass, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a train that had struck a pedestrian near the I-10 Freeway just west of New Avenue, around 10:33 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a Metrolink train that had struck a pedestrian resulting in dismemberment and obvious death.

A long-term investigation was spawned as a result of the large debris field created by the collision.

Reports indicate the train was on its way to Los Angeles from San Bernardino.
