Accident Causes Truck to Spill Large Lumber Load | Otay Mesa
05.27.2022 | 12:45 PM | OTAY MESA – According to witnesses, the male driver of a semi-truck carrying a large lumber load on a trailer decided to change lanes and hit the male driver of the pick-up truck.
The pick-up may have been in a blind slot with the semi-truck driver not seeing him.
The two collided and the semi went onto the left shoulder and lost most of its load onto the freeway.
The #1, #2,  lanes are blocked.
Traffic is building up as it is a holiday weekend.
Neither driver was injured.
The clean up will take a very long time according to the CHP.
