Abandoned Truck Found Torched in Field | Santa Paula

04.26.2022 | 1:55 AM | SANTA PAULA – Ventura County Fire crews and Santa Paula Police officers responded to a call of a vehicle on fire in a field off Cornell Dr.

When units arrived on scene, they found an abandoned work truck that appeared to have been deliberately set on fire.

Crews had the fire knocked down in approximately 20 minutes and mitigated further spread into the surrounding brush.

The cause of the fire was likely homeless-related.
