DETAILS:

1. Firefighters were dispatched to an abandoned school to check for a fire.
2. Crews arrived to find fire inside the structure.
3. Firefighters initially began an offensive attack before transitioning to defensive operations.
4. One firefighter was transported to a local hospital with a twisted ankle.
5. Fire crews expected to remain on scene throughout the morning until the fire is fully extinguished.
6. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
