Abandon Structure Fire in Houston

- HFD was dispatched in response to a reported building fire at an abandoned structure.
- The first unit arrived about three minutes later, observed visible flames at one end of the building, and began extinguishment efforts.
- The next unit in established a water supply and conducted a search of the building and discovered three individuals residing within the building; all were assisted to safety.
- The fire was declared out with no injuries reported among civilians or firefighters.
- HPD and HFD Arson investigators are on scene to determine the cause of the incident.
