A BMW Slams Into A Mercedes, Causing Major Injuries

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-29-23, 1:46am
LOCATION: Lemon St/EB 91 Freeway On ramp
CITY: Anaheim
DETAILS:

1. Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded to a three car traffic collision.
2. When they arrived on scene, they found multiple cars involved and the driver of a Mercedes trapped.
3. They were extricated from their vehicle and transported to a local area trauma center in grave condition.
4. The driver of a BMW was also transported to a local area trauma center with moderate injuries.
5. At this time, it appears that the driver of the BMW was traveling at a high rate of speed and may have blew through a red light and slammed into the rear end of the Mercedes.
6. The intersection will be closed for several hours.
7. It isn’t clear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the incident.
