9 OFFICERS DOWN IN GUN BATTLE (CAUGHT ON CAMERA) | PHOENIX

02.11.2022 | 2:16 AM | PHOENIX – Shortly after 2 AM Phoenix Fire Department was dispatched to a gunshot wound call with stage requirements at the above address with multiple shots were fired. While en route, the call was balanced to a gunshot wound two victims with the battalion chief reporting an officer was shot. A subject with an infant in their hands came out of the house and put the infant on the ground in front of the front door and walked out towards officers with their hands in the air. Officers took that subject and detained them. As a group of officers moved towards the front door in an attempt to rescue the infant, multiple shots were fired through the front door and multiple officers were struck. Since then, there have been more shots fired from inside the home towards officers. The house has now caught fire. The baby is un-injured.
