8 High School Track Runners Hit By Suspected DUI Driver
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-10-25, 2:55 p.m.
LOCATION: N Harbor Blvd. and W. North St
AREA/CITY: Anaheim
DETAILS:
A TOTAL OF 9 TRANSPORTED, 8 STUDENTS AND THE DRIVER. THE DRIVER WILL BE ARRESTED FOR SUSPCETED DUI ONCE CLEARED FROM THE HOSPITAL.
- What we know at this time is that several students from the high school Cross Country team were running and were hit by a vehicle.
- We have at least eight students were hit, three were transported immediately transported, their injuries are unknown.
- A solo vehicle hit and jumped the curb, plowing into the runners.
- It is unclear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision, it is currently being investigated.
- The team is a cross country team from Anaheim High School.
