6 People & 8 Pets Displaced in House Fire

DETAILS:
- A fire of unknown cause broke out in the garage and spread to the residence inside and two trucks in the driveway.
- Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the front of the house.
- It took approx 20 minutes to put out the fire.
- One male resident was injured with burns to one of his arms, but he did not want to be transported for medical care.
- Three adults, three children, six French Bulldogs, and two cats are displaced.
- The cause is under investigation.
- We heard several small explosions, and neighbors told us that the man regularly fires off illegal fireworks from his yard.
- CVFD Fire Investigators are on their way to try and find the cause of the fire.
- The American Red Cross has been requested to come and aid the family.
