5 Displaced After House Destroyed In Fire

DETAILS:
- Five people will be dispatched this evening after a large fire in a Phoenix neighborhood.
- Shortly after 8:00pm, firefighters from Phoenix were called to the area near 39th Ave and Wilshire for reports of a tree on fire in a backyard of a home. Initials arriving crews encountered large flames coming from the backyard that were quickly extending into the nearby residence. Firefighters deployed hose lines to attack the fire. An all clear and fire control were obtained, preventing any further extension into the home. Fire companies will be remaining on scene to hit hotspots. No injuries are reported at this time.
- The displaced occupants will be working with the Community Assistance Program on scene.
- Phoenix fire investigation task force members are currently working to determine a cause.
