4 Hospitalized After SUV Plows Into Bus Stop

- The driver of an SUV is under investigation after their SUV lost control, sending it slamming into an OCTA bus stop and striking three people.
- Three pedestrians were waiting for the bus at the stop near El Toro Rd & Paseo de Valencia when witnesses say an SUV hopped the curb and crashed into the bus stop area where the three individuals were waiting to catch the bus.
- Firefighters quickly called for more resources to assist with triage and to transport the patients to local hospitals.
- Four total patients were transported including the driver of that SUV.
- Currently the Orange County Sheriff Department have the southbound lanes of El Toro Rd. closed while they work to investigate the crash.
