3-Year-Old Rescued From Stolen Car | El Cajon

12.21.2020 | 11:30 AM | EL CAJON – The mother of the 3-year-old boy apparently left the child in the Volkswagon Station Wagon with the engine running outside of her residence on the 300 blk of West Madison Ave. A white male stole the car and probably did not realize the child was in the back. After driving away, the Police were searching throughout the city when they got a call from the employees of the American Ice Co. company that a man had just parked in their parking lot and left a crying child inside of the car. This location is approx 2 miles from where the car was stolen. The Officers arrived and recovered the child and a manhunt began with ECPD officers, Sheriff K-9 units and the Sheriff’s ASTREA helicopter. The suspect was not found as of 1:00 pm. He is described as a white male, wearing a white T-shirt and red shorts. The child was returned safe and unharmed back to the mother. For licensing, contact info@onscene.tv
