3-Story Structure Engulfed in Flames in Koreatown
At approximately 3:00 a.m. on April 6th, 2026, Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to a structure fire near 3rd Street and Vermont Avenue in Koreatown.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a three-story abandoned building fully involved in flames. The fire caused a partial roof collapse as crews worked to contain the blaze.
No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
Vermont Avenue was shut down between Oakwood Avenue and 3rd Street while firefighters battled the fire and conducted overhaul operations.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
