3 Separate Shootings, Multiple Victims Within an Hour | Altadena
12.20.2020 | NOON | ALTADENA – Officials responded to reports of a shots fired call at the 3100 block of N Santa Anita Ave in Altadena at 12:11 p.m. When units arrived on scene they found 1 male adult with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital, and is expected to survive. This victim is possibly paralyzed, with a gun shot wound to his spine but that is unconfirmed by officials.
About 30 minutes later, at 12:47 p.m. units with LASD Altadena and Crescenta Valley stations responded to reports of another shots fired call at Johnny’s Liquor. When units arrived on scene they did not find a victim.
About 8 minutes after, at 12:55 p.m. units with LASD Altadena and Crescenta Valley stations responded to reports of a third shots fired call at the 3100 block of N Olive Ave. When units arrived on scene they found one male adult struck by gunfire. He was transported to a hospital, and is in unknown condition.
The shootings are possibly connected. At this time, there is very limited suspect information available.
