3 Rescued From Under Overpass During Flooding

LOCATION:  Preston & Smith (Buffalo Bayou)
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:

1. HPD officers located 3 people trapped in rising waters from Buffalo Bayou
2. The 3 were trapped under the overpass of Smith St as Buffalo Bayou overflowed its banks
3. HFD was requested, and a swift water response was initiated
4. HFD brought in a boat and deployed it into the bayou
5. HFD made 2 trips to rescue the 3
