3 Bikers Struck By Hit & Run Driver On I-10

DETAILS:
- Per AZ DPS:
- DPS troopers and Phoenix Fire responded to reports of three motorcycles struck by a sedan on eastbound I-10 near the Deck Park Tunnel.
- Upon arrival, troopers located 3 injured riders off right on the shoulder.
- A vehicle described only as a white sedan, struck the motorcycles and immediately fled the scene.
- Fire crews arrived on scene a short time later and transported the injured riders to a local trauma center with serious injuries.
- Their injuries have since been deemed non-life-threatening.
- Troopers halted all eastbound I-10 traffic for approximately 45 minutes while fire transported all victims and troopers worked to clear the scene.
- Troopers are investigating the incident and are working to obtain a more detailed description of the hit and run vehicle.

- Firefighters have treated and transported three adult trauma patients tonight following a motorcycle vs car collision on the I-10 at the Tunnel East bound.
- When crews arrived on the scene they found a motorcycle on its side and two people on the ground not moving. Paramedics initiated a triage of all patients and immediately began treatment and ambulance transport of the injured. Those transported to the hospital include:
