3 Alarm Fire Breaks Out in Cardenas Market

NOTE: There is video from inside the store where you see people evacuating the store with their mouth and noses covered and heavy smoke.

1. Cal Fire Riverside County responded to a commercial structure fire at Cardenas Market.
2. When units arrived they found a established fire inside the store and quickly call the second and then a third alarm.
3. The flames were contained to the interior of the store.
4. Firefighters contained the fire at 1:42 p.m. and will remain on scene for three hours performing salvage and overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
5. Mutual aid from Ontario  Fire Department and Riverside Fire Department.
