- The 911 call came in around 9:45 AM regarding a male wearing no shoes who broke into the calling party’s home
- The wife stayed on 911 as the husband chased the suspect out of the house and down the street with a hammer
- Sheriffs deputies quickly arrived and found the suspect and took him into custody a block away on Volunteer Ave
- Deputies located an empty backpack dumped by the suspect in front of the home
- The homeowners were not harmed. It is unclear how the suspect made entry or if he was armed
