2 Women Rescued From Wrecked Car After Running Stop Sign | San Diego

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 2-19-23 10:15 am LOCATION: Coronado Ave & Catalina Blvd CITY: San Diego DETAILS: The female driver and her female passenger were eastbound on Coronado Ave, when they ran the “Stop” sign. They hit the female driver of the Suburu as she was heading northbound on Catalina Blvd. The two vehicle collided in the intersection and the Honda flipped onto its’ side. Both women were trapped. The other driver of the suburu stopped and parked. It took firefighters approx 20 minutes to cut the roof off of the Hinda and extricate the women. The two women were checked out by Paramedics, but they did not want to go to a hospital.
