2 Vehicles Roll Over In Possible DUI Wreck | Bonita

04.01.2022 | 7:55 AM | BONITA – Witnesses told the CHP that the male driver of the red Mercedes was speeding and attempting to pass other traffic on the right shoulder when he lost control. The Mercedes went back into the #3 lane and hit the rear of the truck (Pit maneuver). Both vehicles went across all 3 lanes of travel and flipped onto their roofs in the center median. Good Samaritans stopped to help and get the 2 male drivers out. Both men were transported to local hospitals with unknown injuries. An open container of Whiskey was found in between the drivers’ and passenger seats of the Mercedes. An officer followed the ambulance of the Mercedes driver to the hospital to test for suspected DUI.
