2 Killed When Car Splits In Half & Bursts Into Flames After Crash

LOCATION: 105 East & Vermont
AREA/CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAFD & CHP responded to a report of a vehicle into a tree that was on fire
2. Crews arrived to locate a sedan on fire, split in half
3. One patient was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene
4. A second patient was located in the vehicle also deceased
5. CHP received reports the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, possibly racing prior to the crash
