2 Killed In 2nd Alarm Fire At Liz Bolton Stables | San Marcos

06.26.2021 | 1:36 AM | SAN MARCOS – Firefighters responded to a 2nd Alarm fire that broke out at the Liz Bolton Stables in San Marcos in the community of Twin Oaks. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a single-story residence that was fully engulfed in flames. Nearby trailers that were on the property were also destroyed as the fire raged out of control. Firefighters decided to make a defensive attack as downed power lines and a broken fire hydrant made fighting the fire difficult. 2 people on the property were unaccounted for and were eventually found deceased in one of the trailers. Fire Investigators are en route to determine the cause of the fire. Firefighters will be on scene for several hours conducting mop-up.
