2 Injured After Fiery Crash in Lucerne Valley

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5:24 PM 11-13-25
LOCATION: Camp Rock Road, just south of SR 18
AREA/CITY: Lucerne Valley
DETAILS:

1. Head on collision between a pick up and trailer and small suv
2. Both vehicles were fully involved in fire when help arrived
3. Driver of the pickup truck ran from the scene into the open desert
4. Occupants of the small suv were transported to hospital
5. Chp helicopter was circling looking for the one driver
6. Chp helicopter may have transported a patient to hospital per radio traffic
7. Suspected alcohol involved
8. No fatalities, all escaped the vehicles
9. No further at scene
