2 Alarm Commercial Fire In Compton

COMPTON (CNS) – Flames and smoke engulfed a single-story commercial
building in Compton tonight.
The fire was reported at 9:07 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of North
Long Beach Boulevard, according to Los Angeles County Firefighter Craig Little.
The Compton Fire Department called for mutual aide from from county
fire and took a defensive approach to battling the blaze, Little said.
Fire trucks could be seen on FOX11 on all for sides of the building
training water on the visible flames and protecting nearby structures but no
firefighters were seen moving onto the building or inside.
County firefighters were released around 11:20 p.m., Little said. No
injuries were reported.
