17 Undocumented Immigrants Onboard Smuggling Boat Captured | Mission Bay

05.30.2021 | 12:45 PM | SAN DIEGO – A US Coast Guard spotted a suspicious boat entering the Mission Bay Channel and radioed for CBP boats and Jet Ski personnel to help stop the boat. The boat was stopped and boarded off of Dana Point. 17 undocumented immigrants were found onboard (14 males & 3 females). The boat is a 31′ sports boat registered in California. The boat was taken to the San Diego Lifeguard headquarters where the immigrants were transferred to CBP custody.
