16-year-old Girl Shot in Face | San Diego

12.22.2020 | 12:37 AM | SAN DIEGO – A 16-year-old female is lucky to be alive this morning after she was shot in the face. The call came out as a person shot in the apartment complex at 6345 El Cajon Blvd.

When officers arrived, they found a window and a screen pulled off the unit with blood dripping from the balcony. Nobody was located in the building but the woman was located down the street near the Rite Aide. The single female victim told officers she did not know who shot her.

She was taken to the hospital where she is currently in stable but serious condition. The complex is marketed as “off campus student community” but it wasn’t clear if the victim is a student.
