DETAILS:

1. A man was reported to be shot at Pecan Park
2. Paramedics arrived and located a 14 year old with multiple gun shot wounds
3. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene
4. A canopy was requested and a crime scene was established
5. LAPD Hollenbeck Division is investigating the incident
6. This is the 5th homicide in Los Angeles in the last 24 hours
