1 Killed, 2 Injured After SUV Flies Off I-10 / I-17 Interchange | Phoenix

09.24.2022 | 1:00 AM | PHOENIX – At approximately 1:08 AM DPS received reports of a vehicle that had launched off of the eastbound I-10 to southbound I-17 transition ramp. The vehicle fell several feet down to the ground below violently crashing into the ground roof first. Troopers arrived to find the vehicle upside down with one male ejected and a male and female trapped inside. Fire crews arrived on scene and began working to extricate the trapped occupants from the vehicle. All three occupants (2 males and 1 female) were transported from the scene to a local hospital. One male was pronounced deceased a short time later, the other male is in extremely critical, life threatening condition, the female occupant is stable and expected to survive.
