1 Dead, Several Injured Including AZDPS Trooper | Phoenix

11.13.2022 | 12:45 AM | PHOENIX – At approximately 12:45am on Sunday morning, Phoenix Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Interstate 10 SB just before Elliot Rd. A DPS trooper arrived with lights on to protect the scene and Firefighters on scene. A RideShare vehicle carrying 4 passengers slammed into the troopers vehicle and the passenger vehicle that was on fire. The rideshare vehicle ends up making contact with pedestrians on the side wall. Everyone was transported off the scene to local hospitals. One of the passengers from the rideshare vehicle was pronounced dead at the hospital.
