LOCATION: East Fwy near Freeport (Westbound Lanes)

DETAILS:
- The Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a major 4-vehicle crash.
- Three passenger vehicles and a heavy hauler parked for road construction were involved.
- The passenger vehicles were a Honda 4-door, a Hyundai 4-door, and a BMW SUV.
- The vehicles came into contact before leaving the main lanes and entering the service road.
- The Honda rolled over. Its driver was hospitalized in stable condition.
- The Hyundai’s driver and another occupant were hospitalized in critical but stable condition, but the third occupant was killed when it struck the parked truck.
- All occupants were adults. No juveniles were involved.
- Intoxication was not suspected, and all drivers cooperated with the investigation.
