Woman Saved From Car Fire on Freeway

DETAILS:

  1. On July 24th, 2023, at about 10:08 PM, Riverside City Fire and CHP received reports of a vehicle fire at the Riverside Interchange on the Southbound 215 to the Southbound 215.
  2. The 911 caller stated that the driver was still inside the vehicle but was pulled out by a passing motorist.
  3. Firefighters arrived at a fully involved vehicle on the overpass.
  4. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
  5. The driver was checked out but was unharmed.
  6. The cause of the fire is unknown.
