Ventura: Docked Boat Consumed By Flames In Harbor

10.29.2019 | 1:47 AM | VENTURA – A boat was consumer by flames after a fire broke out in the Ventura Harbor, early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a boat fire in the water at the Ventura Harbor located in the 1100 block of Navigator Drive around 1:47 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a vessel in the water engulfed in flames and began efforts to extinguish the fire.

The firefighter took approximately 30 minutes and was hampered by the distance between the flames and fire boats.

A neighbor stated he does not believe the owners were inside the boat at the time of the fire but authorities are still working to investigate.
