Sun Valley: Civilian Water Tender Helps Battle RV Fire

05.11.2020 | 2:54 AM | LOS ANGELES – A civilian water tender helped firefighters extinguish an RV fire, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire in the 9100 block of North De Garmo Avenue in the Sun Valley area around 2:54 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a well-involved RV and a civilian water tender from a nearby business attempting to douse the blaze.

Firefighters and the civilian water tender doused the flames and quickly extinguish the fire but not before running out of water.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
