Panorama City: Carport Fire Destroys Five Cars, Damages Apartment

06.06.2020 | 3:30 AM | LOS ANGELES – Five cars were destroyed and an apartment was damaged when a fire broke out in an attached carport, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire at an apartment complex located in the 14600 block of Roscoe Boulevard in the Panorama City area around 3:30 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located multiple vehicles engulfed in flames that were quickly spreading to a carport attached to an apartment.

Additional resources responded and firefighters worked to quickly extinguish the flames.

Despite their efforts all five vehicles were destroyed and two apartment units sustaiend damage.

Arson investigators are responding to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
